Leavenworth
County Fair
The Leavenworth County Fair is held in August at the fairgrounds
in Tonganoxie. The fair begins on Tuesday and runs through
Saturday night. The annual parade is held on Wednesday at
6:30 p.m. The parade route is from the corner of Delaware
and Fourth Streets, West on Fourth Street to the Fairgrounds.

Garage Sale
The first Saturday in October is when you will find
Tonganoxie lightening it's load. People come from all over
to find deals and enjoy the surpises in Tonganoxie. For more

Christmas
Tree Lighting Ceremony
The Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony is generally held the
first or second week in December, weather permitting. Events
include a short speech by the Mayor, musical entertainment
and a visit from Santa Claus. This event is sponsored by the
